How to assemble an artificial Christmas tree in 5 steps (without damaging the branches!)

Step 1: remove all decorations from the tree

Before you start folding the tree, it's time to thoroughly remove all holiday decorations. Baubles, garlands, lights – everything must go. Remove the ornaments calmly, one by one, to avoid pulling branches or leaving hooks stuck in the needles. The biggest enemy of the tree during folding is hidden wires and sharp ornament ends that can snag and damage branch structures. 

Tip: Roll up the lights (you can make this task easier by wrapping them around a wooden board or rolled-up newspaper) and place them in a separate box. This will save you frustration when untangling them next year!

Step 2: thoroughly clean the branches 

Dust, glitter, fragments of shiny garlands – your tree has likely gathered them during the holidays. Now it's time for a thorough cleaning. Use a soft microfiber cloth or a delicate brush and work from top to bottom to prevent dust from resettling on already cleaned areas. 

Step 3: fold the branches along the trunk, slowly and precisely
